It’s crazy to think that 3 years have come and gone and our little “I don’t want to sleep” bundle of joy is now a confident, boisterous, loving, bossy and sound sleeping(!) three year old. Happy Birthday Zoebug!zoe through the ages

In true Zoe fashion, she was over the top excited to head to school today to celebrate her birthday with all of her friends, but not before kicking it off with her partner in crime and a heavily sprinkled donut. Zoe birthday donut

Nobody blows out candles like my kids do. I swear they LOVE to blow out birthday candles, and love to sing Happy Birthday, so sing and blow we did. Zoe loves donuts and Timbits, so it only seemed fitting to celebrate with her very own for breakfast. Yep, I am that mom too.zoe blowing candles

I never let Zoe wear her dress-up princess clothes out of the house, but today she asked if she could wear a fancy dress to school for her birthday, so I let her pick and this is what she came out in. I rolled with it, and she insisted on “Elsa hair” and lipstick too. Those lips, I mean it’s aggressive, but I can’t say no to that face on her special day. mommy & daddy & zoe

We celebrated Zoe’s birthday 6 weeks ago because of our impending move. It was a huge success and Zoe and her friends had a blast. Today she told me that she’d “really like an Anna Princess party” too. Maybe next time. As for tonight, it’s Zoe’s choice for dinner, a little gift and lots of love from her family. Thomas & Zoe

We love you so much Zoebug, life definitely would not be the same without you. Thomas sure is your number one fan, we are so thankful you two have each other. Thanks for bossing us around, singing out of tune and loving us right back!
